Christie Brinkley and Alexa Ray Joel reportedly did some mother-daughter bonding earlier this month — over plastic surgery. Star magazine claims that Brinkley had a mini face-lift, while doctors performed a nose job on 24-year-old Alexa.

Brinkley hasn’t commented on her supposed procedure, but Alexa confirmed her surgery.

• She told People magazine, “I was thinking about getting this for years,” adding that her nose, “always bothered me a little bit. I was self-conscious of pictures taken from the side. To some people that’s vain, but at the end of the day, we all want to feel pretty.”
• Joel claims that she’s done with surgery, explaining, “Would I do anything else to my body? No. It’s not ten procedures like Heidi Montag. For me, that’s a little extreme, but to each her own.”

Christie Brinkley denied rumors that she had a facelift at the same time her daughter Alexa was in the hospital getting a nose job. Her rep told the New York Post, “Alexa had breathing difficulties due to a deviated septum and decided to correct the appearance of her nose at the same time. As far as Christie is concerned, she was at Lenox Hill to support her daughter, and throughout her career people have speculated that she’s done this or that, which she always chooses to take as a compliment.”

Our coworker picked an AWFUL baby name for her future son!

This is Andrea H., one of our coworkers here at the Mighty 98.  Doesn’t she look sweet?  But yesterday, we found out she was planning to commit a terrible crime!

We were talking about the feuding friends who were wrangling over the same baby name and how women often choose their baby names long before they ever plan to have a baby.  We asked Andrea if she had already picked out her future baby names.  She said she had.  So, what would she name her baby if she had a little girl?  Stella!  We thought that was a lovely name!  Then we asked about her boy name.  Are you ready for this?

Maximus Greatness.  You heard us.  Maximus.  Greatness.  We tried to explain to her what happens to kids who have awful names once they start school, but she was not convinced.  So we told her we would poll our listeners and share with her our cumulative wisdom and experience.  We told Andrea that it never goes well for the kid if the parents try to get clever or too cutesy with their name.  Chris actually had a friend who went to school with twin girls named Cherry and Peach Pitts.  Imagine the horror!
