In 2031.

ALIEN life will be discovered by humans within twenty years, a top Russian astronomer has predicted.

The director of the renowned Russian Academy Of Sciences’ Applied Astronomy Institute insists contact with extra-terrestrials will be made in the next two decades.

Andrei Finkelstein said: “The genesis of life is as inevitable as the formation of atoms.

“Life exists on other planets and we will find it within 20 years.”

Since ten per cent of known planets circling suns in the galaxy resemble Earth, Finkelstein said it would be inevitable that life could be found there.

At an international forum dedicated to the search for spacemen he also said that aliens would most likely resemble humans, with two arms, two legs and a head.

But, “they may have different colour skin,” he added.

Get a “Reborn Doll!”

According to recent news reports, elaborate fake babies—called “reborn dolls”—are becoming popular with adult women.

The dolls, which can cost more than $12,000 (but often sell for several hundred or a few thousand dollars)—have extremely realistic hair and incredibly lifelike facial features and skin tone, thanks to many hours spent by artists who paint them, complete with one-of-a-kind birthmarks—and painstakingly apply their locks and lashes.

In the business world, retrieving voice mails can be cumbersome if not a pain in the keester because of poor voice mail etiquette.  Here are the top 10 worst voice mail traits (according to Netscape):

  1. The Marathon Message — The extremely long voice mail that never ends.
  2. The Death March — Leaving a phone number at the end of a long voice mail. If you missed it, you now have to listen through the entire message just to get the phone number.
  3. The Screaming Eagle — The voice mail left in a noisy place or as a fire truck is passing by.
  4. The Drunken Dispatch — The classic drunk-dial voice mail.
  5. Voice mail Interrupted — As the person is leaving the voice mail, they stop in the middle to have a conversation with someone else or answer another call before they return to finish the message.
  6. The Misguided Message — A person or telemarketer leaves a message for you that was actually intended for someone else.
  7. Voice mail Incognito — The anonymous voice mail, where the caller assumes you can identify their voice.
  8. The Dehydrated Dispatch — Any voice mail left by someone with a bad hangover.
  9. One Way Wonder — When the person thinks they are speaking to you when they are actually talking to your voice mail.
  10. The Pocket Dialer — The person that accidentally calls you because the phone is in their pocket or purse and isn’t key-locked, leading to an endless soundtrack of them walking down the street, driving, or having a conversation with someone else.

Happiness isn’t in a pill or in your bank account.  Happiness is in your  mind.  Psychologist Sonja Lyubomirsky and her team reviewed 51 studies that tested attempts to increase happiness through different types of positive thinking. The results? These practices can significantly enhance well-being. Here are five things you can do to be happier:

  1. Be grateful — Write a letter of gratitude to someone who has helped you in some way. This can lead to a lasting increase in happiness over weeks or even months. You don’t even need to send the letter to reap the reward. Just writing it can make you feel better.
  2. Be optimistic — Visualize your ideal future, whatever that may be. Perhaps you long to find a loving partner or secure a fulfilling and challenging job. Imagine all the details and write them in a journal.
  3. Count your blessings — Every week, write down three good things that have happened to you. By focusing on the positive, you’ll remember reasons to be happy.
  4. Use your strengths — Identify your greatest personal strengths and then try to use them in new ways.
  5. Commit acts of kindness — Donate your time or money to a charity and you’ll not only help others, but also yourself. People who give to others report a boost in their own happiness.

Take a nice bath!

If you’re feeling lonely run a hot bath. Taking a long soak in the tub can help combat feelings of isolation and exclusion, a study has found.

The research by Yale University in the U.S. suggests the warm water acts as a substitute for company.

Victims of loneliness take warm baths and showers subconsciously to ward off their feelings.

The greater the sense of isolation, the more baths or showers a person is likely to have, the longer they stay in them and the hotter the temperature of the water.
