Alanis Morissette is almost done writing her first ever book. She has to turn it in by this spring, and according to Spinner.com, she says it turned out to be a “very philosophical” mixture of photographs and essays. Morissette says, “It’s all over the place, but there’s a linear pathway throughout it all. It’s kind of my fantasy book, the kind of book I wish I could read all the time from other people.” Morissette doesn’t consider the book a memoir, but does reveal that shares some of her personal stories in it — with the hope of offering advice to readers. She says, [It's] more just to share anything I can that might help people skip over some tough experiences, kind of becoming the sister that I never had for other people.”
