Poor McKenzie struggles to come to terms with the fundamental problem of her new birthday present. It’s not a blue car, it’s red!

The family wait in excited anticipation for McKenzie to find her new gift parked outside. When all goes drastically wrong, McKenzie tries to explain her predicament with a repetitive ‘Shut Uuup!’ and a few tears.

Daddy tries to tempt McKenzie into giving it a drive, but there is no way that Mckenzie would be seen driving that.

Brilliant.

The annual shin-kicking championships are afoot!

Thousands of fans have gathered to watch an annual shin-kicking championships which date back to the 17th Century.16 competitors battled it out in the vicious contest in Gloucestershire where they grasp each others shoulders and quack at their rivals shins.

Wearing traditional white smocks and with their socks stuffed with protective straw, fighters then have to push their competitors to the ground after landing a good kick.

This year Londoner Kieron Lee was named champion after beating Gareth Price – part of a stag party from Wigan – in the final.

While the shin-kickers left with cuts and bruises they should consider themselves lucky — steel toe caps were banned from the event in the 1950s and before that broken legs were commonplace.

While most students seemed thrilled at President Barack Obama’a commencement speech at Michigan’s Kalamazoo Central High School, one student couldn’t stop yawning. The student was caught on camera, as he was a member of the choir standing almost directly behind the President. At one point, the as yet unidentified student appears to nod off completely. Meanwhile, a Facebook page for “the guy sleeping behind obama at kalamazoo graduation” is gaining popularity and at press time has over 1600 people that “like” it.

Watch as bystanders intervene after woman’s purse is snatched

Crystal blew us away and some other guy was there doing something, too.

Each contestant sang three songs.  They picked their favorite song of the season, sang a song chosen for them by Simon Fuller, the Executive Producer, and performed the song that will be released as their single if they win.  Which, this year, for the first time, won’t be some awful dreck written for the winner, who will be forced to record it and release it to a disappointed public.
