He’s sooo cool!

Jenna Fischer’s recent wedding to Lee Kirk was a friendly affair. So friendly in fact, that her buddy Jeff Probst officiated the ceremony.

People magazine reports that the Survivor host — a longtime friend of The Office star — has been an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church since the 1990s. Although he’s on location in Nicaragua for Survivor’s 21st season, he flew to Malibu for 24 hours in order to marry Fischer and Kirk.

  • Probst has reportedly married several friends over the years — and conducted his parents’ 35th anniversary vow renewal.

Recently, an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live was filmed on the host’s laptop after a power outage shut down the program’s control room on Monday (June 21st) night.

A posting on ABC.com Tuesday explained, “An hour before showtime last night, a power outage shut down the Jimmy Kimmel Live control room, broadcast transmission center, and tape operations area. With guests and a studio audience waiting, Jimmy recorded the whole show on his laptop using his computer’s webcam.”

  • Show publicist Chelsea Hettrick said that guests Seth Rogen, John Henson and country artist Dierks Bentley were very accommodating in “going with what happened.”

Get Real-ity!!

Kate Gosselin reportedly banked over $500,000 for her stint on Dancing With the Stars. PopEater.com reports that each person on the show gets paid $100,000 an episode — explaining why higher-profile stars like winner Nicole Scherzinger sign up.

Meanwhile, more “Kate’s a diva” reports surfaced after her return to the program on Tuesday. PerezHilton.com reported that before Kate took the stage, she insisted the studio temperature be changed so that she wouldn’t sweat.

  • Spies supposedly overheard Kate’s partner Tony Dovolani telling others that the “notoriously difficult Barbra Streisand” would have been easier to work with than Kate.

Really, America?  Lee Dewyze and not Crystal?  Really?

We knew it was going to happen, but still.  Lee Dewyze?  Disappointing.  Oh, yeah.  And Simon’s leaving.  And Paula was there.  And there was a medley of Chicago songs.  And Xtina.  And some other people.

Bring on America’s Got Talent!

Crystal blew us away and some other guy was there doing something, too.

Each contestant sang three songs.  They picked their favorite song of the season, sang a song chosen for them by Simon Fuller, the Executive Producer, and performed the song that will be released as their single if they win.  Which, this year, for the first time, won’t be some awful dreck written for the winner, who will be forced to record it and release it to a disappointed public.

What did our Listener Panel of Judge Natalie think?  Let’s ask her.

What were her favorite performances?

Who’s going to win it?

And we just have to see Crystal sing “Up to the Mountain” again.

Goodbye, Casey James!

Which leaves us with Crystal Bowersox and Lee Dewyze to duke it out next week!

Natalie was very excited.  See?  Look how surprised she was when Casey was eliminated.
